Wildwood Elementary
Every Month each teacher selects a student of the month. These students have "Lunch with the Principal", a free dress day and receive other items of recognition. Their pictures are displayed on a bulletin board by the office. We are so proud of all our students. Keep up the good work!
Recognized Academic Growth
Our School Performance Score grew by 6.3 points last school year. We met our growth target! By meeting our growth target Wildwood’s academic label is “Recognized Academic Growth”. We will receive an academic flag to join the others displayed in our lobby. We will also receive a monetary reward. A school’s performance label is based on the 3rd, 4th and 5th grade iLEAP and LEAP results as well as daily attendance. Let’s continue to work hard and attend school daily so we can keep growing in an effort to meet our goal.

Bus Safety
Riding on the bus is granted to all students who live over a mile from the school they attend. Our bus drivers have a very important job driving the students to and from school. Please remind your children to sit on the bus at all times and follow bus safety rules and procedures.
ExxonMobil Math Grant
We are very fortunate to be a part of the Exxon Mobil Math Grant this year. We are one of six schools involved. Math training is provided each month to Wildwood’s Math teachers.
News in Brief
v Please make sure your child is dressed in accordance with the parish dress code each day before leaving home. Belts must be worn if there are belt loops on the pants.
v Please inform the office and your child’s teacher if you have a change of address or telephone number.
v Review weekly conduct and work habits grades with your children.
